Our website address is https://nowwecanmeet.com. Now We Can Meet is a private directory that helps Christian women in the United States find friends nearby and meet in person. It was founded by Renee, who lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, and also runs TheTable, a community for women. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Now We Can Meet.

This page explains what information we collect, who can see it, and the choices you have. You can reach us any time through our contact page.

When you join the directory, we collect your first name, email address, city, state and ZIP code, and your answers about your age range, relationship status, parent status, daily life, whether you're a morning bird or a night owl, and when you're usually free. You can also add a photo, a link to your Facebook or Instagram profile, and a short bio. We use this to create your directory profile so other members can find you.

Your email address is used to confirm that it's really yours, to send you sign-in links, to deliver notes other members send you, and for important messages about your account. We don't add you to a mailing list.

When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address and message so we can reply.

When you send another member a note with "Say hello", she receives your first name, city and state, your note, and your email address, so she can write back to you.

Like most websites, our server also keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and browser details, for security and troubleshooting.

The directory is not public. Only signed-in members who have confirmed their email address can search it, and they can only search one ZIP code at a time (results include members within about 10 miles of that ZIP code). There is no list of all members, and member profiles are hidden from search engines.

Other members can see your first name, photo, city, state and ZIP code, your answers, your bio and social link, and the members you've both confirmed you've "personally met". Your email address is never shown to other members.

You can hide your profile from searches or delete your account at any time from your My profile page.

If you upload a photo, please choose one that doesn't include location data (sometimes called EXIF GPS data), since information stored inside a photo file can travel with it.

When you sign in, we set cookies that keep you signed in on that device for up to 14 days. When you sign out, those cookies are removed. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't track you across other websites.

Our pages don't embed content from other websites. If a member links to her Facebook or Instagram profile and you open it, you'll leave our site, and that website's own privacy policy applies.

We never sell, rent or trade your information. We share it only with the services that run the website for us, and only so they can do that work:

• Our website and its data are stored on a server in the United States, managed by our web partner, Snazzy Solutions.
• Our emails are delivered by ZeptoMail, an email delivery service run by Zoho.

Renee and our web partner can see member information in order to run and support the directory. We may also share information if the law requires it.

We keep your profile for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, your profile, photo and answers are removed right away. Deleted information can remain in our server backups for a short time until those backups are replaced.

If you start joining but never confirm your email address, your sign-up stays out of the directory and is deleted after 30 days. Messages sent through our contact form are kept for as long as we need them to help you. Records of the emails our website sends are kept for 14 days so we can fix delivery problems.

You can see and change your information at any time on your My profile page, and you can delete your account there too. You can also ask us, through our contact page, for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to erase it. This doesn't include information we have to keep for legal or security reasons.

Your information is stored on our web server in the United States. It is only sent elsewhere as described in this policy: emails pass through our email delivery service, and notes you send go to the member you wrote to.

Now We Can Meet is for women 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll let members know by email.
